NTUC PLUS! ZUMBA FITNESS

If you had Saturday morning off, what would you be doing? Catching up on your sleep? Watching television with a bag of chips in your hand?

I would thrust myself out of my bed and head to Ngee Ann City to participate with others in Latin-inspired Zumba Fitness workout and get myself in the Guinness Book of Records.

Oh boy did I work out a sweat with my friends....fortunately it was so much fun that I did not feel any tiredness.

On that day, all the Zumba enthusiasts descended upon Ngee Ann City and wowed the public with their awesome moves. I am bowled over by their moves, they must have practiced very hard over the week.

On that very day, there were different booths, be it selling Zumba exercise gear, signing up for Zumba classes , there was also face-painting and I decided to indulge in the fun by asking the balloon artist to create me a dog and I got a poodle!
Don't you find it cute? And it's in one of my favourite colours: GREEN! The colour of environmental friendliness!

I definitely had so much fun on that day with my fellow blogger friends and I think I might be inspired to take up Zumba classes! So won't you Zumba with me?

Yes! Yes! Washing my hair under the Merlion is simply refreshing!
Meet Val, the latest Little Mermaid on the block
I made it out of the Alive Museum alive!!

Do you know  that Alive Museum first started in Korea as Trick Art Museum in Seong-eup, Jeju Island, and changed its name to “Alive Museum” in 2012. Since then, there are 15 branches of Alive Museum globally, making it the largest chain of 3D interactive illusionary art museum in the world. Outside South Korea, Alive Museum is also in Turkey, Vietnam, Thailand, China and now (from June 2014), in Singapore.
Peel your eyes off the screen, have you not seen a hot bikini babe before?

I was there last Thursday and boy, was it a terrific experience!
I just had to steal a kiss from Mr Spidey! It sure was a wet kiss!

You  should make a trip down to Suntec City, #03-372, and pay a visit to Alive Museum Singapore which is opened from 10 am to 9 pm daily. And, psst...tell you a tip, book  your tickets online and you get 20% off the tickets. How cool is that?

The Escape Hunt Experience

I have always been a fan of the Escape The Room game and my mobile phone has different levels of "Escape The Room" for me to tickle my mind.

I find that it's a great escape from work and it stimulates and challenges me to figure out a way out of each room.

Do you know that there is now an opportunity for you to experience it live?

Yes, you can be "Sherlock Holmes" and put on your detective cap and use your logic to solve and figure out a way out of an actual room?

Here are some details on what The Escape Hunt Experience is all about. It is an adventure game based on "Escape The Room" games that are popular. (I am sure you must have played before!) These games were originally point and click computer games such as Myst and Crimson Room(I played Crimson Room many times over!).

In year 2007 in Japan, they were made into real life games. Players are locked in a room with objects and it feels like being in a computer game and you search for clues and solve puzzles to escape!

So by now you must be wondering where this fantastic place is whereby you can play the game live not for 45 minutes but for a whole full hour.

Brace yourself as I am going to unravel the mystery for you.

The venue is at Concorde Hotel and Shopping Mall, #02-43

The pricing is as such:

2 pax @ $38/pax
3 pax @ $33/pax
4 pax @ $30/pax
5 pax @ $28/pax

I would recommend that you get together as a group and go for the experience as it will be fun interactive experience whereby you get complimentary tea and biscuits and you get to dress up as Sherlock Holmes and take a photo for keepsake and guess what? It is not only the cheapest but it is worth every dollar and cent as they pride themselves on good customer service.

I am so excited to declare that there will be 20+ branches of Global Live Escape Game by the end of this year(Woohoo!!!)

Most importantly, I like the idea that the games are designed by an UK Mensa member who has a Masters in Psychology from Cambridge so you can be sure the games are multi-dimensional, non-linear, has an awesome and logical story line.

Singapore International Water Week 2014

On 14 June 2014,  I was with Team Peishi and together with a group of bloggers, going round Orchard Road, beginning from Ion Orchard, to gather pledges for Singapore International Water Week.

A little background on Singapore International Water Week (SIWW). It is held in conjunction with the fourth World Cities Summit and the second CleanEnviro Summit Singapore. It is the sixth edition and will focus on industrial water solutions, talent development and the commercialization of innovative water technologies and solutions.

Back to the event that I was part of on Saturday, I had so much fun with the other bloggers going round gathering pledges for SIWW.

In conjunction with SIWW 2014, seven founding sponsors have pledged to raise money for Water.org through #SIWWPledge

For every like/pledge made by online fans, $1 will be donated to Water.org.

I am thankful for all those friends who came down and supported the event and also those sporting people who did not hesitate to have their photo taken when they heard of the cause.
Glad to be part of this wonderful event for a fantastic cause. Were you there on Saturday? Did you see a group of enthusiastic people dressed in blue who actively promote the cause because if you were not there, it is okay.

You can go online at Singapore International Water Week and like the page to pledge!
Come on and jump on the bandwagon for a good cause!

Heroine Make Event on 16 April 2014

On 16 April 2014, I had the privilege to attend Heroine Make Event at L'Etoile Cafe at 160 Owen Road.

The setting of the cafe was cozy and warm and it was definitely befitting that the event was held there because all the ladies in attendance were treated like princesses for the evening.

A little background about Heroine Make. It is a popular Japanese cosmetic brand best known for its eye makeup products.

Its icon is Himeko Elizabeth (Princess Elizabeth). The story goes like this: Princess Elizabeth believes every woman is a leading lady in the story so therefore she should look good at all times.

Therefore, Heroine Make's commitment to every consumer is to provide long-lasting and smudge-proof makeup that will last.

You will not believe it! Every lady in attendance had the awesome privilege to test the No. 1 mascara voted by @Cosme's prestigious Best Cosme Awards in year 2009 and 2010 in Japan.

To make your face look smaller and cuter and eyes bigger, look no further and try Heroine Make mascara eyelash curler. I simply adore its U-shaped curler...it instantly makes my eyes bigger and curls the eyelash longer than normal.

My friends and I were amazed that it was an effortless procedure and it took only less than 3 mins each for each eyelash.

Be sure to check out the Long & Curl Super Waterproof Mascara and Volume & Curl Waterproof Mascara.

I must share with you that evening's event....we had an ultimate lash challenge whereby we had to place rubber bands on the curled lash to see how many can stay on. It was hilarious seeing all the ladies trying to outdo one another. It was no wonder as the price at stake was a Pandora bracelet.

We also had the treat of sumptuous food and it was kind of the organizer to have arrange for it as most bloggers came after work.

I took part in the dance challenge and my good friend, Ice, won the challenge. With her long luscious eye lashes she had because she used the Long & Curl Super Waterproof Mascara even she displayed her hot sweaty moves, the mascara did not smudge and guess what, she won a Pandora bracelet for her effort.

No doubt, everyone went home feeling like a princess that evening because they got a goodie bag of Heroine Make products. Say yay to that!

If you are interested, be sure to check out the photo booth / back drop by Heroine Make in 5 different cafes in 5 different months...if you want to know the locations, be sure to check Heroine Make Facebook Page.
